Emergency Spare Key
You will see a spare key to the left of the front door – this key MUST be left by the door at all times and not used as a secondary key. The reason is in case of fire and the possibility you may be upstairs asleep. In that emergency you need to evacuate Saetr Garden Cottage and the spare key will be at hand to open the door.
WATER IS FROM A PRIVATE SUPPLY
Our water is suitable drinking water and filtered through a plant on Harrop Fold Farm and an internal filtration system in The Old Farmhouse. Water samples are tested by the local authority on a regular basis – please ask if you would like to see the most recent sample report. We follow a regular procedure of checking and servicing filters. Please note, however, that in the unusual event of an electricity outage the filter system will not be operational.
